Malina stretching the legs

Written by Luveaucek at 06:19 7/6-2011

After the recent roster changes, the disappointing results in Season 16 Essex tour, and the subsequent failures during the mid-season Division 2 sprinting classics, Luveaucek appears to now be close to finally recovering. The departures of Art Cruse. Serhiy Stark, and Andrej Pandula, has led to a significant result drought throughout the entire team, as expected.

With the team now sitting 85th, and the highly sought Nederlandse tour rapidly approaching, Wryen has the team focused to win over the next week. The team will need at least 225 points over the next 3 scheduled races to qualify. Desmond will be in good form and has full team support in Argentina, as will Damario in Finland's Division 2 sprinting classic in Helsinki, and the youngster, Mikuláš Malina, will ride just outside his home town of P?estanov during the sprint from Chomutov to Teplice.

"He still needs a bit of discipline," Wryen replied when inquired about Malina, "but I believe he can help the team on this treacherous road back to Nederlandse. Regardless, he'll be happy leading the way through his old training grounds."

The team is expected to lose close to an additional 600 points over the next month, so participating, and success, in the Nederlandse tour may be Wryen's best chance to stabilize the team and end the relegation to Division 3, from Division 1, over the last of half this season.

He maxed day 2, 51 AVG, before TT centre, I think.

3rd for Ledgerwood, and 2nd for Barba!!! It looks like I'm in range for NL tour. Now I just have to set an alarm for 6am, or stay up all night, for sign up. There's a party tonight...

Luveaucek at 18:27 7/6-2011
I'm not all that surprised by my drop. During last seasons Essex, Barba had top form, Stark as a teammate, and Cruse as a leadout, none of which he had this season. I'm starting to just hope I can hang on long enough for Volta again... it's been too long. I hope Germany goes well for you and Vitaliy, it looks like you have many points on the line there also! Good luck!

Luveaucek at 18:02 7/6-2011
He's not maxed yet. :) Perfect little result today for him with only 69 DP, its just what I needed as I lose 70 points 2 hrs before NL sign up. Now I just need Ledgerwood and Barba to muster about 180 - 190 points, back to back top 3's basically. I'll need some good luck for sure. This season is his only chance for a YC jersey ...

Gradient Levellers at 11:36 7/6-2011
He looks good already. Is he maxed? Good luck with the next few weeks. Amazing to see how much you've dropped. I may be following you if my results don't improve.
